Ryan Lonie

Class of 2000

Ryan Lonie is a Frankston High School graduate.

Ryan was drafted to the Collingwood Football Club when he was in Year 12 as a 17-year-old.

He played 21 games in debut season and was the Round 4 Rising Star nominee.

Ryan played in two Grand Finals (2002 and 2003).  Unfortunately, lost both but was an amazing experience as so few AFL players have the chance to play in even one.

Retired in 2008 after eight years and 123 games.

Joined a major national building company in an entry level position. Completed a Diploma of Management and a Diploma of Building and Construction. Ryan is now in a senior level position as a National Manager.
